Consumer Services
The Consumer Services Section provides information and assistance to consumers who have insurance-related concerns, including questions about title company escrows, extended warranty contracts, service contracts and medical discount plans.
We urge consumers with insurance questions to contact the Division of Insurance. If you wish to file a complaint, you should begin this process online.

The Producer Licensing Section of the Division of Insurance is responsible for licensing of producers for individual and organization (agency) licenses. This section oversees the licensing of more than 100,000 resident and non-resident producers doing business in the state of Nevada.

The Life & Health Section is responsible for the regulation of life, health and annuity policies, including rate and form review.

The Property & Casualty Section is responsible for the regulation of the property and casualty portion of the insurance industry in Nevada, title insurance, workers' compensation insurance and the workers’ compensation portion of the Consolidated Insurance Programs, premium finance schedules of rates and finance agreements, motor club membership materials and service contract provider registration and review of service contracts.

Self-Insured Workers’ Comp
The Self-Insured Workers’ Compensation Section is responsible for the certification and regulation of self-insured employers and associations of self-insured employers pursuant to Chapters 616B.300 through 616B.446 of the Nevada Revised Statutes, and for ensuring the financial solvency and viability of these entities.
For inquiries regarding reviewing and approving workers’ compensation policy rates, language, composition and format, as well as collecting quarterly and annual financial statements from private workers’ comp insurers, contact the Division’s Property and Casualty Section.
